We firmly believe that a rigorous education in arts and design empowers individuals to think analytically and critically and gives them the tools to positively join the dialogue about making our world a better place.
We provide high quality artist residencies to Schools and Organizations. In addition to designing and teaching specialized art and design programs, we offer consulting, workshops and training on best practices for arts teaching and arts integration. Our NYC DOE Vendor Number is FEB739230.
Our team of teaching artists also provides a variety of finishing services to help researchers in the sciences, math, and social sciences bring their work to a broader audience.
Our collaboration with Febrer Arts in our remote learning programs has been invaluable to our curriculum offerings. Our programs "Anda Jaleo and the Art of Storytelling" as well as "Zarzuela Review Zooms to the Tony's" were truly enriched with their participation; the visual arts component they provided was a key element not only to our success, but to rounding out our curriculum of dance, music, script writing and storytelling.
Victoria Febrer hits all the marks when providing professional development in the arts. As a professional artist actively engaged in her craft, Victoria demonstrates excellence in her art form to teachers and students. Her on-going artistic practice puts her in first hand relationships with other current artists and her knowledge of who is doing what, regardless of content and media, appears limitless. Victoria has been an incredible resource for helping me make existing lessons more contemporary and relevant. Her knowledge of digital media and her suggestions and instruction for incorporating the latest technology have helped me to implement much more engaging lessons. Her fluency in Spanish has also been invaluable in fostering a special connection with my ENL students whenever she has visited my classroom, as well as advising me on technology and strategies to help me engage this growing population at my school.
Our team will work with your organization or school to develop new arts programs or artist residencies for elementary, middle, and high school as well as family programs to engage all ages. Programs can be developed based on conceptual themes, specific artworks or exhibitions, or centered around specific techniques. We also have experience developing and leading bilingual English-Spanish programs for children and families.
